Bas Rouge Farm & Forge is a small acreage diversified farm in Orono, Maine. Our primary enterprise is a Native Plants Nursery.

We sell a variety of native herbaceous plants, native shrubs, and native sapling trees. Limited amounts of hand harvested native seeds collected from our nursery and farm are also available.

Plants are sold off-site on alternating Saturdays at the Orono and Brewer Farmers' Markets; alternating Sundays at the Bangor Farmers' Market. Also sold at the Native Gardens of Blue Hill Spring & Fall plant sales, and to private clients.

Stock is sold in six-pack through 3-gallon pot sizes; most plants sold in 1-gallon pots.
